AM Radio in Every Vehicle

On September 15, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act (H.R. 979). This is a great victory for the radio industry.

For Oklahoma, this issue is especially important. During severe weather and other emergencies, radio remains a trusted and reliable source of lifesaving information. We appreciate the time and attention our elected officials gave to this important conversation and remain optimistic as efforts continue to move the legislation forward.

In the meantime, keep up the great work to make sure the legislation passes in the Senate. Encourage our senators to pass S.315. Continue airing the PSAs, talking about this issue on-air, and educating your communities about the importance of radio.
