Position Summary:

We manage desktop and mobile web sites, as well as mobile app design, for three television stations and five radio stations in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Our sites are among the most visited in Oklahoma, and we are looking for a creative designer with a strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Web standards to manage highly-visible projects. If you’d like to become an essential part of a large, Oklahoma-owned media company, this position is for you.

 

DESIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

An eye for the fundamentals of design on multiple device types and screen sizes
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in a PC environment with a high level of experience with Photoshop
Ability to write HTML/CSS to build basic Web pages without a WYSIWYG editor
DESIRED INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and high attention to detail. The ability to manage projects individually and as part of a team is essential. Also essential is the candidate’s ability and desire to contribute to a dynamic team environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create mockups/comps using Photoshop and/or Illustrator
Create ads and other interactives, including rich media
Create standalone projects or pages utilizing best practices and semantic code
HOURS/SCHEDULE:

Full time, Monday through Friday, typically 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Candidate must be flexible to schedule changes due to projects, holidays, vacation, troubleshooting, and technical problems.

 

EDUCATION:

Minimum two years’ experience in Web design/development.
