Job Summary:

Supervise AR employees in payment application, invoicing, and collections

Manage Credit granting process (e.g. review credit applications, run credit reports, etc.)

Manage relationship with collection agencies

Complete high-level collections relationship with other departments in the company

Close AR subledger monthly

Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting

Back up AR team in AR tasks

Perform other job-related duties as assigned

 

Must have thorough knowledge of accounting principles, methods and practices; Prior experience with Sage 100 (formerly MAS 90/200), Biznet reporting, or Wide Orbit traffic system software a plus. Computer skills that include a working knowledge of Microsoft Operating System (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.); internet applications and the ability to learn new systems; ability to work well with others; maintain confidentiality; strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

 

Education/Experience: Accounting or Finance degree required. Supervisory experience required. Prior AR, credit or collections experience preferred. Related experience will be evaluated by Company management and may be substituted on the basis of two years’ experience equals one year of education.

 

Location/Schedule: Griffin’s Oklahoma City office. Full-Time, generally Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
