KOTV MMJ Sports Reporter

JOB SUMMARY: Research, shoot, edit, write and report for on-air and on-line Sports Department.  Producer and Anchor sportscasts as needed.

SKILLS:   Must be knowledgeable of Professional, College and High School Sports.  Must execute news/sports production for multiple platforms.  Both Anchoring experience and experience in the field are essential. Must be capable of live reporting from the field. Must be self-sufficient enough to set up and research sports stories with limited guidance.  Experience in Social Media and Digital Content is a plus.  Previous experience as a Sports Reporter, photojournalist and non-linear editor required.  BCNG knowledge is a plus.

HOURS/SCHEDULE:     Full time position.  Hours will vary.  Weekend and/or evening work required for sporting events.

EDUCATION:   College degree and two years’ on-air experience at a network affiliate required.  Link of work required.
