The House FM/The House of Praise

The House FM and The House of Praise have an opening for a Radio Chief Engineer at the non-profit organization’s headquarters in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

The radio ministry is looking for a detail-oriented, organized multi-tasker who has the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of all broadcast-related equipment, and keeping such equipment operational and compliant with FCC rules and regulations at all times.

The Chief Engineer will act as the Chief Operator of all 21 transmitters, and will be on-call for “Emergency” technical situations.

The Chief Engineer will also supervise one full-time engineering assistant. He/She will coordinate all installation and maintenance of radio broadcast equipment, towers, fences, buildings, and generators, along with other duties as assigned.

Solid working knowledge of broadcast consoles, satellite receivers, and automated on-air operating systems, such as Zetta, is required.  I-T and networking skills required as well.

At least five years of broadcast-engineering experience required.

A minimum of an Associates Degree is required (work experience might substitute for the degree).
