Office/Ministry Intern

The House FM is a listener-supported Christian radio network serving much of central and western Oklahoma and southern Kansas. Our ministry is seeking a part-time office intern to support our team in our Ponca City, OK headquarters. This individual will perform a variety of vital tasks necessary to the operation of our radio networks. A House FM office intern will gain valuable knowledge and experience in a wide array of disciplines involved in small business operations, nonprofit management and funding, public relations, fundraising and promotional tactics in an environment that emphasizes teamwork and leadership, personal accountability and ministry. Compensation for this position may include college credit, a stipend, and/or hourly pay.

Responsibilities:

Support the office team in all forms of internal operations, organization, communications and team care.
Support the team in the execution of external initiatives – donor development, general fundraising, recruiting, community relations, etc.
Interact with community leaders, business people, donors and audience members during public events.
Pickup and deliver equipment, supplies, promotional materials, prizes, etc. as a representative of our brand.
Qualifications & Requirements:

The ideal candidate is pursuing post-high school education and experience in business, management, HR, public service, ministry or a similar field.
Outgoing personality, able to interact with our partners, supporters and fans at public events.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Experience with basic office software and equipment, business communications, leadership training, customer service, ministry or teaching, etc. is a plus and should be highlighted in resume or portfolio.
A desire to impact coworkers and audience members through Christian ministry.
This internship is ideal for those pursuing a career in ministry, nonprofit or for-profit sectors.
House FM interns work approximately 12-20 hours per week.
