KTEN Television, the NBC/ABC/CW affiliate in Denison, Texas, is looking for a full-time Production Assistant.

Primary responsibilities include:

Directing assigned newscasts. Our news department produces 34 hours of news a week. The successful candidate will also act as a production assistant on assigned newscasts, which includes using Adobe Premiere editing software, operating audio board and graphic system. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must be a self-starter, have effective communication skills, and be a team player with a positive attitude.
Must have flexibility in work schedule and be willing to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.
Must be punctual and dependable.
Other Duties as assigned.
A pre-employment drug test is required.
 
Education/Experience Level:
Some television broadcast experience or education in RTF is strongly desired.
