HIGHLIGHTS for 2024:

  • Super Session on “Artificial Intelligence” (AI): Presented by the Jim Brown, President of Borrell Associates. Jim will take us through the evolution of AI, how it can be our friend, and the best practices to be successful in a New Era of Media. This session is recommended for all broadcasters in both Radio and Television.
  • Super Session on “Mastering Today’s Sales and Buying Dynamics”: Presented by Gary Moore, President of LocalBroadcastSales.com. It is a given that Digital Sales are now a prominent part of advertising, so we need to incorporate this new technology with our proven success with our over-the-air signals. This session is recommended for all personnel who sell or market for Radio and Television.
  • Super Session on “How to Monetize Social Media in a Meaningful Way”: Presented by Lori Lewis, President of Lori Lewis Media. Given that everyone now walks around with the internet in their hand or pocket, Lori Lewis will give us seven “Hands-On” options to make you money and gain you audience. This session is recommended for all broadcasters.
  • Super Session on “Covering Polarized Issues: Election 2024—Know Your Story”: Presented by Kevin Benz, Head Coach of Kevin Benz News. As elections loom on the horizon, journalists will again find themselves on the front lines of culture wars and polarization. Controversy, misinformation, and politics govern the public narrative., but covering controversy by itself never informed anyone. Head Coach Kevin Benz has trained thousands of journalists with pragmatic and ethical standards. Recommended for any Journalists or Station Managers.
  • OAB Achievement Awards Banquet: Congratulate the Finest Work by the Best Broadcasters in Oklahoma. Reception at 6:30pm, Dinner and Awards at 7:00pm.
