Job Summary: As a Radio Promotion Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with developing and executing station sales promotional campaigns to generate non-traditional revenue for the Tulsa Radio Stations and websites.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and presentations for both sales promotions and annual presentations
  • Effectively work with VP of Marketing, Director of Marketing, Programming Directors, Radio Sales Director, Local Sales Manager, Sales Promotion Manager, Marketing Staff and Account Executives to execute a prospects or clients participation in a campaign.
  • Oversee implementation and reporting to ensure happy clients.
  • Provide sales support to Radio Account Executives to assist with orders, client management and research.
  • Execute sales promotions by working seamlessly with other Griffin Media divisions, departments, and external vendors.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, initiative and understands the importance of meeting deadlines and benchmarks.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including driving an automobile for company business.

Job Schedule: This is a Full-Time position, generally Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Must be flexible to schedule changes.

Skills and Requirements: 

  • Formal education equivalent of BS degree in Sales or Marketing. Related experience will be evaluated by Company management and may be substituted on the basis on two years of experience equals one year of education.
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience in Media, Marketing or related business.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, including PowerPoint and Excel and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and have a driving record acceptable to the company.
  • Capable of handling the physical and mental requirements including:
    • ability to verbally communicate in English
    • ability to read computer monitor information (words and data)
    • ability to hear detailed spoken word
    • ability to remain sedentary and to travel to work location
    • ability to perform manual dexterity tasks with hands, fingers
    • ability to analyze data, concentrate, reason, and write
    • ability to perform under emotional stress
