Business Development Manager

KTEN, the NBC, ABC, and CW affiliates in the Sherman-Ada DMA, is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to guide our local sales efforts through creative marketing solutions. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and possess strong communication skills.   
 
Duties include, but are not limited to:
 
Oversee broadcast and digital sales efforts
Inspire, lead and train sales professionals
Make sales calls both on your own and with account executives
Provide team member support and in-field coaching
Cultivate strong relationships with local advertisers
Anticipate and meet customer needs wants and expectations
Develop and implement sales strategies which meet client objectives and generate incremental revenue
Must be a skilled negotiator with a proven track record of success
Wide Orbit, Nielsen/Comscore experience preferred
 
Qualifications/Requirements:
 
Must be willing to work in Denison, Texas
Proficient in Microsoft products, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Five years of broadcast media sales or digital marketing experience is preferred
Good driving record
